Perpetrator Intervention
Community of Practice
In Western Australia, countless agencies and practitioners are dedicated to intervening with perpetrators of Family, Domestic and Sexual Violence (FDSV), whether through group settings or individual sessions. Commitment and dedication to this specialised field are invaluable. Yet, the work can be demanding and requires keeping up to date with ongoing changes and developments in best practice, evolving knowledge and skills, and emerging trends.
The free Community of Practice, funded by the Department of Communities, provides a safe space for perpetrator intervention practitioners to receive and provide peer supervision. This allows for the sharing of skills, experiences, and updates on research and emerging trends.
The Community of Practice is available to:
- Men’s Behaviour Change Program - Group Facilitators and Practitioners
- Men’s Behaviour Change Program - Individual counsellors
- Caring Dads Facilitators and Practitioners
- Partner contact workers
